Each year Harrison Poultry helps our community as much as possible with charitable donations to our local schools, non-profit organizations, and other local organizations. In these unprecedented times that have now been declared a pandemic due to COVID-19, we are doing everything possible to keep our employees safe and healthy, continue to supply chicken to the food supply, and of course support our community in new ways.
Harrison Poultry recently donated boxes of Leg Quarters to support a BBQ chicken meal with When Pigs Fly BBQ (based in Monroe, GA). WPF BBQ will be smoking the chicken we provided for a meal for local hospital workers at Walton Piedmont Hospital in Monroe, GA. We appreciate the opportunity to take part in this meal as a small thank you to appreciate all of the healthcare workers who are on the frontlines of the pandemic. WPF BBQ has been sponsoring additional free meals for other local first responders, police officers, healthcare workers, and others who are still working as essential operations and employees during this pandemic.
Thank you, WPF BBQ, for allowing us at Harrison Poultry to donate product for a wonderful cause!
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
